Water Conversation
Reclaim water is water that is recovered and treated to make it acceptable for use in the wash portion of the total wash & rinse process. It is not intended to be used for drinking or cooking. Reclaimed water is used as the muscle to remove the solids from the vehicle, followed by a fresh-water spot-free final rinse.
The spot-free final rinse comes from fresh water that has had 90% of all minerals removed through a process called reverse osmosis. The result is a clean drying of the vehicle with no water spotting. If you've ever had small white spotting on your glass or paint, you were probably using hard water that was not treated through reverse osmosis.
Using reclaimed water promotes water conservation by re-using nearly 90% of the water used in a car wash. In some parts of the country water is a prescious commodity. Droughts cause city officials to ban drive way washing, lawn watering, and car wash facilities can also be closed.
